What events led you to this career?

I am a life-long learner and educator. My thirst for knowledge led me to become fluent in Spanish and I have taught Spanish, English as a Second Language, and technology classes. While in school, I loved integrating technology into my lessons and eventually became the Director of Educational Technology, supporting the entire school during virtual learning days and beyond. My love of finance allowed me to be a stay-at-home mom when my children were young. I continued to develop this passion through educational financing, became certified as a financial coach and now lead virtual finance classes across the country and internationally. I have experienced first-hand the importance of responsible personal finance and feel blessed to help others find financial freedom while ensuring that their families are truly cared for and served well.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

I enjoy improving processes and procedures for both clients and advisors. Accuracy and attention to detail ensures that we provide industry-leading support for you and your family. It is an honor to be able to help clients achieve the goals that they have for their families.

Family info:

I have three children who fill my entire world. Madison is a first-grade teacher, Meagan is a junior in nursing school and Michael is graduating high school this year. I was blessed to be married 20 years to my late husband, who passed in 2019. His legacy lives on every day in the joyful hearts of our children.

What are your interests outside of work?

I am a consummate learner and enjoy exploring languages, different cultures, technology, literature and personal finance. I am an avid soccer player and play on a weekly co-ed team. I enjoy running, going to the gym, and spending time outdoors. Time with my family is the most precious gift of all. We attend church in Marietta, and I enjoy giving of my time through facilitating Financial Peace University classes.
