What events led you to this career?
I grew up working in the family business providing back office services to financial advisors. After 11 years in the military and 6 years as director of administration for a manufacturing company I decided to take my experience in operations, accounting, benefits administration and recordkeeping, and returned to my roots in the financial services industry.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
Paperwork and recordkeeping requirements can get complex. I love helping advisors and clients simplify the paperwork process so that they can get back to doing more of what they love. Whether it is coordinating the opening of new accounts, chasing down a complicated transfer of assets, or simply taking care of day to day tasks, I ensure clients have the peace of mind that someone is minding the details. It’s rewarding to know that the work I do allows you and your advisor to focus on the big picture of achieving your financial goals.
Family Info:
My husband, Paul, and I have two children, Anastasia and Grant. We love spending time outdoors, getting into creative adventures and spending time with friends and family.
What are your interests outside of work?
I love to cook – I even went to culinary school - and I host regular craft nights with friends to feed my creative side. You can also find me supporting my dad, an ultra-marathon runner, as part of the “Opa Runs” Crew. I enjoy staying involved in the community by leading a Girl Scout Troop, supporting local business and tourism initiatives, and volunteering on the board for Molly’s Wheels of Hope, a non-profit dedicated to helping disabled animals.
