As mentioned in a previous post, Scott, Thad, and I are all training for various running events this fall. Well, my first race took place this past Sunday, and I did NOT hit my goal. I was disappointed, but, after analyzing the outcome, I am motivated to keep going.

I heard someone say that “wisdom comes from evaluated experience”. This applies to running, business, life, and our money.

After evaluating the race and why I missed my goal, there were things that were in my control and things that weren’t. I can learn from the ones I can control and adjust my plan next time.

There are times when we will not accomplish our financial goals. There are likely things we can control and things we can’t. We can evaluate these, learn from them, and keep moving. This will make us wiser.

Knowledge and the understanding that there is a higher power, which is God, gives you wisdom. You are wise, Taylor!
